  21. I don't think the problem is on your end. It sounds more like it is a 
  22. problem with the BBS you are trying to call. I for example have the same 
  23. problem while calling a bbs that is using Excalibur. If you are using an 
  24. external modem, you might want to check what kind of UART your computer 
  25. is using. (MSD can tell you this) You should have a 16550. When using 
  26. windows 95 you might want to check your FIFO buffer settings under 
  27. Control Panel | Modems.
